1. How do I book?

The preferred method is by booking online. If you prefer to use the phone to book you can call us on telephoning 01268421858 or 07507661777. Alternatively you can email us at richard@laindonleisure.co.uk.

2. How much notice do I need to give for a booking?

You can book anytime however bookings get very busy in the Summer. Please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Alternatively you can contact us on the day as we may have availability.

3. How much does it cost?

Our bouncy castle hire starts from £65 per day. Please contact us for latest offers.

4. What do the prices include?

All bouncy castle booking prices include local delivery (an additional charge will be charged for out of area deliveries. If this is the case, you will be advised at the time of booking). You will also receive a blower, extension cable, and safety crash mats. The price also includes set up, inflation and collection. Generators can be supplied at additional costs for remote locations.

5. When are your bouncy castles available?

Our castles are available 7 days a week all year round including Bank Holidays.

6. How long do I get the equipment for?

You can book your bouncy castle for a maximum time of & hours (unless booking overnight). Collections can be no later than 8pm without an overnight booking surcharge (even if the castle is collected after 8pm the same evening).

7. Can I hire bouncy castles overnight?

Under certain circumstances this can be arranged at an additional £20 if we feel the location is secure. It will usually be collected before 10am the next morning.

8. Do I have to pay a deposit?

No deposit is required for a Standard Hire.

9. How do I pay?

Most people choose to pay cash on delivery; we also accept card payment online via credit or debit card.

10. What if I need to cancel?

You can cancel at any time; all we ask is that you give us as much notice as possible. If no notice is given you may incur a cancellation fee.

11. What if it rains?

Although most of our bouncy castles are fitted with shower covers unfortunately They cannot be operated in really heavy rain conditions due to safety reasons. If your booking is outdoors and rain has been forecast, you can cancel on the day with no cancellation charge.

12. Can the bouncy castle be set up on a slope?

If it is a very slight slope it may be possible, you will need to discuss this prior to the booking.

13. How long does it take to set up/inflate/deflate/pack up the inflatable?

The bouncy castles take approximately 20 minutes to set up and approximately 30 minutes to pack up. However this is only an estimate, times may vary depending on which castle you hire.

14. How much space is needed?

You will need to allow a minimum of 5 feet at the front and rear of castle and 3 feet either side this is to allow access and the blower at rear. Please make sure all garden items such as garden toys, swings, slides, patio furniture, rubbish etc. are removed from the area where the castle is to be sited. Please also ensure the area is completely clear of animal foul.

15. When I hire a bouncy castle is there anything I need to provide?

We supply all the hardware you will need for the castle; you will need to provide a 240 volts mains power socket. You will also be required to sign our terms and conditions if you have not already done so.

16. Do you supply safety instructions?

Yes we can provide detailed safety instructions with every inflatable or party equipment hire.

17. Can I have a bouncy castle on a hard surface?

If it is indoors we can supply on hard surface. If it is outdoors we cannot. This is for safety reasons.

18. Do you carry Public Liability Insurance?

Yes, Laindon Leisure has £5 million full Public Liability Insurance. Please email us if you would like to see a copy of the Insurance Certificate.

19) Can you supply an invoice/ receipt for my party hire?

Yes. Please let us know at the time of the booking that you require one.

20) Can you provide supervisors with the equipment?

Yes we can. The charge for each supervisor is £20 per hour.

21) When do you require the payment?

The castle will not be set up until the payment has been made. We require the payment in full on the morning of the hire when the castle is delivered if it has not already been paid. There are no exceptions to this rule.

22) What should I do before you arrive?

Our bouncy castles are delivered on a sack barrow so we need clear access for this (at least 3ft). Please make sure paths and access to your garden are free of obstacles. We carry 20m extension cables so you should let us know if your power supply is further than this. You should also check that the area is free of debris, and clear up after any animals that you have had in your garden. We will refuse to set up a castle if the ground is not in a suitable condition.

23) How much does it cost in electricity to run a bouncy castle?

It costs approximately £1 to run a bouncy castle or slide all day.

24) Where do you provide bouncy castle hire?

We offer bouncy castle hire in Essex, with some of our key delivery areas including Basildon, Billericay, Brentwood, Canvey Island, Chelmsford, Laindon, Rayleigh, Southend-on-Sea and Wickford.
